Cooling and freezing counters and showcases

Condensation of humidity on cold glass surfaces and freezing of drainpipes are common problems with this equipment.

Heating of showcase glass

Heating cables can be installed into frames around glass areas to prevent the condensation of humidity on these cold surfaces. This will ensure an increased temperature of the glass and a shift of the dew point. According to the dimensions, heating cables of the FLEXCORD series are installed into frames, that will also simultaneously provide a natural circulation of warmer air. Thanks to this, the already condensated humidity will evaporate better.

C1S – silicone heating cord

It is a serial heating element with a defined resistance for 1 m of length. This cord is supplied in length and it is necessary to attach the cold feeds during installation. If the joints are not made properly, there is a danger of moisture getting inside and subsequent damage to the cable. If necessary, it is possible to fit the cable with a tin-plated copper braiding.

CS, CS1, CS2, CS3 – silicone heating cables with cold feeds

These cables derive from the C1S heating cord. They are supplied terminated from production in standard or required lengths, outputs and powering voltages.

FTS0 – heating cable with a constant output and silicone insulation

This type of cable is always powered from one end and it is possible to shorten it at installation in multiples of 0.5m to a required length. Therefore, it is most often used in repairs and piece production. The cable is supplied in three output versions – 25, 40, 50 W/m and with the possibility of a tin-plated copper braiding.

Heating of drainpipes

The low temperature in cooling chambers is provided by evaporators, on which hoarfrost is created during operation. In certain time cycles, the evaporator is intensely heated by electrical heaters and the water from the melting ice is diverted through a drainpipe. As a section of the pipe may be endangered by the water freezing and subsequently damaging the evaporator, it is necessary to install a FLEXDRAIN heating cable into, or to the outside of the pipe. This cable is turned on and off simultaneously with the de-frosting cycle, which means that it is free of further regulators.

CSC – drainpipe heater

A heating cable with a single silicone insulation, a cold feed on one side and a vulcanized mould on the connection of the heating and cold sections and on the blind end. It is entirely waterproof, therefore it is suitable for installation into pipes. It is manufactured based on the customer´s requirements in random lengths and outputs. Though, condidering this, it is more suitable for serial production.

CSC2 – drainpipe heater

A heating cable with a double silicone insulation, a cold feed on one side and a vulcanized mould on the blind end. It is entirely waterproof, which makes it auiteble for installation into drainpipes. It is supplied in two output versions 40 and 50 W/m and lengths of 1 to 6m.

CSC2K – drainpipe heater with a thermostat

A heating cable with a double silicone insulation, a cold feed on one side and a vulcanized mould on the blind end with a built in thermostat. It is entirely waterproof, which makes it auiteble for installation into drainpipes. It is supplied in two output versions 40 and 50 W/m and lengths of 1 to 6m.

A – alluminium heatin foil

It is manufactured solely on comission, beacuse its shape, dimensions, output, voltage and all the other parametres are planned according to the customer´s specific requirements. One side of the foil can be self-sealing to simplify the installation, the inputs can be fixed with practically any connectors. However, firstly it is necessary to consult all the requirements with the producer.

FSG – auto-regulating heating cable

An auto-regulating cable is always powered from one end and can be shortened at installation to a required length. The output of the cable changes smoothly in relation to the surrounding temperature. It is a more expensive solution, however very reliable and energetically economical.
