Floor heating

An elegant way of heating a house or appartment, and at the same time not being limited by radiators and heat distribution systems. There are three methods of installation.

Straightheating: a floor heating system, which is positioned directly under the final flooring, as pavements or floating floors. The ECOFLOOR LDTS mattings or the ECOFILM heating foils are used for this application.

Semi-accumulation: the KYCY and KYCYR heating cables are designated for this type of heating, and they are to be laid on the thermal insulation before being poured over with a 4 to 8cm layer of concrete or anhydrite. This layer accumulates heat for about 1 - 3hrs and them radiates it for the same period of time.

Accumulation: it is the same principle as with the semi-accumulating heating, only the heating cable is placed in a 10 - 15cm layer of concrete which accumulates the heat during night and radiates it during the day. The conveniency of accumulation heating is dependent on the momentary price rates for electrical accumulation heating. Nowadays, this charge isn´t particularly prefered, which is why the negative aspects, such as complicated regulation and low dynamics, usually prevail in decison-making and accumulation heating is rejected.

Why to use the electrical cable floor heating?

Electrical floor heating is an efficient system of low-temperature heating, where unnecessary dust whirling doesn´t occur. more

Necessary power

The determination of the power in based on many conditions, which affect the heat diffusion, transfer and penetration through the material used in the construction of the house. more

Used elements

Products from the FLEXFLOOR series are the foundation of electrical floor heating. They are serial resistance heating cables. ECOFLOOR heating mattings and ECOFILM heating foils can be used as well. more

Regulation

A great advantage of electric floor heating is its simple regulation. It enables an individual regulation of each heating circuit - usually a room. The regulation is thus an important element of a floor heating system, which provides the regulation of the ideal space temperature and also monitors the maximal allowed temperature in the floor. By doing so, it contributes to the energy savings of the floor heating.   more

Installation methods

The installation of electrical floor heating can be carried out in several ways according to the structure of the floor and the type of heater. more
