Barrel heaters are basically silicone heating fabrics. They are fastened to the barrel by a stainless steel spring.

Barrel heaters are produced in the following modifications:
TCF: barrel heater with a silicone insulation, without a thermostat.
TCF/TV: barrel heater with an adjustable thermostat in a range from +20 to 150°C
Application
- maintaining the temperature of a barrel for preserving the viscosity and other parametres of the contained product at the ambient temperature
- light heating, where it isn´t decisive when the desired temperature is reached
- anti-freeze protection
- for a faster obtaining of the desired temperature, the barrels can be heated by 1, 2, or 3 heaters
